Passeggiata di Goch

In bright sunshine, we have had a wonderful walk near Goch, at the end of March.

On the way there we walked through the fields and returned along the small river Niers:

 The landscape is fantastically beautiful:

The dogs have had a lot of space to run and play:

On the other side you can see our later destination, the restaurant "Jan an de Fähr":

One can take the raft to cross the river:

Between parking lot and restaurant, there is this former, well-known railway station:

It was situated at the important connection between London and Leninggrad. The railway line was leading from Netherland's Vlissingen via Goch, Hannover, Berlin, Warsaw up to St. Petersburg:

Afterwards we have gone to "Jan an de Fähr". There it was beautiful and we have had a delicious meal.

Before we returned back at home, we made a digestive walk in the opposite direction:

Here too the landscape is wonderful:

And finally we have had to say goodbye!
