This year we are honored to welcome Nancy Anstruther as an AKC & CKC (American and Canadian Kennel Club) judge.

Her famous breeding kennel "Tallywood Collies" is probably familiar to everyone.

Judging regulations will be according to the Original American Breed Standard of the AKC (American Kennel Club).

Roughs and Smooths will be judged!

Should there be many reports in the Open Class, we will for the first time divide the open class (at least by the Roughs) after color strokes:

Open Sable - for all sable-colored Collies incl. Sable Merle

Open Trico - for all tricolor-colored Collies incl. Blue Merle

Open White - for all White Collies

By to few registrations in single classes and/or to streamline the programm, there may be a merging of neighbouring age-classes and different hair lengths.

Necessarily applies to all visitors and exhibitors:

Every dog (also visitor dogs) must carry its vaccination certificate with valid rabies vaccination (at least 21 days and not be longer than 1-3 years, depending on the specitications of the vaccine manufacturer, which must be deposited in the vaccination certificate), to get access! And all dogs on the Show area must have a liability insurance!

During this public event, photos will be taken, which will later be made public, e.g. on our club homepage and on Facebook!

We will begin judging at 10:00 a.m., while we start with the youngest participants. Admission from 9:00 a.m..

The show takes place outside. Pavilions are built to protect against too much sun or rain.

The local association of Hundefreunde Oberhausen-Rheinhausen e.V. provides food and drinks. 

Programm-Sequence: 

Wir wollen am 25.08.2024 um 10 Uhr mit dem Richten beginnen, dabei starten wir mit den jüngsten Teilnehmern. Einlass ist ab 9 Uhr. Nach dem Richten aller Hunde unter 18 Monaten, drücken wir unseren jüngsten zweibeinigen Teilnehmern die Daumen beim Juniorhandling.Program Sequence: We want to start judging on August 25th, 2024 at 10 a.m., starting with the youngest participants. Entrance is from 9 a.m. After judging all dogs under 18 months, we keep our fingers crossed for our youngest two-legged participants in the junior handling.

We then continue with judging the dogs from 18 months onwards. This is followed by the group competitions and the final rings when it comes to the titles of European (youth) champion and BOB & BOS. The winner of the show (BISS) will then be chosen.

We will add a lunch break in due course. The local association of dog lovers Oberhausen-Rheinhausen e.V. will provide us with delicious food and drinks.
